I believe one of the most underestimated skills is the ability to communicate effectively. It is a skill that once acquired you can literally change the world with it. Being an effective communicator is a lot like being a surgeon. Surgeons are people of precision. Depending on your speciality, the more skilled you have to be when it comes to precision. No one wants to be operated on by a clumsy surgeon yet we are very clumsy in our communication with others.
